THE
COMPANY & MANAGEMENT
Incorporated as a private
limited company in Hyderabad, Andhra
Pradesh, Cubex Tubings (CTL) was
subsequently converted into a public
limited company in Mar.’92.
Mr.P.R.Bhandari and Mr.U.M.Bhandari
are the promoters. The Managing
Director of the company is a Technocrat
with 34 years of experience in nonferrous
metal Industries and is well versed
with the latest technology.
CTL
manufactures copper and copper alloy
products used by the core sector
and other critical industries like
power generation, shipbuilding,
Railways, Telecommunications, Defence
and automobiles. The present capacity
of the plant is 2800MTPA.
1993-94,
CTL had enhanced the capacity of
its unit and set up a plant in Pondicherry.
The new unit, which commenced commercial
production in Apr’96, also
has facilities to produce super
enameled copper wires.
RESEARCH
& DEVELOPMENT
CTL’S R&D division
has developed in-house copper-nickel
tubes of large cross-sections, to
meet Defence and shipyard requirements.
The company plans to introduce large
cross section tubes and bus bars
and specialty copper and copper
alloy products in India.
The
company has in-house testing facilities
and the products are supplied under
Third Party Inspection like Lloyds,
SGS, EIL, Railways and Defence Establishments
etc.

CUBEX is manufacturer of
seamless solid drawn Tubes, Rods,
Bus bars and Wires of copper and
copper based alloys such as Cupronickel,
admirality Brass, Aluminum Brass
etc.
The
Copper and Copper Alloy products
have shown impressive growth in
the last decade. Copper because
of its high electrical conductivity
and heat transfer characteristics
finds wide application in the form
of Tubes, Rods, Strips and Wires.
The
user industries are Power plants,
Power plants manufacturers, Switchgears,
Refineries, Furnace manufacturers,
Sugar plants, Automobile and Electrical
